Entry level mechanical engineer

OBJECTIVE:

To obtain a full time Engineering position utilizing my education, abilities and knowledge of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering,

Relevant Course Work: Aerodynamics, Aerospace structures, Orbital Mechanics, Thermodynamics, CAD I and II, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Vibrations and Controls, Calculus I, II, III, IV and V, Linear Algebra

Senior Design Project: Designed and manufactured an oarlock that wirelessly displayed a rower’s performance in real time. Utilized 3D Modeling in SolidWorks to design and build the oarlock. Used an open source data acquisition system, Arduino to collect and interpret data from a potentiometer and a load cell to calculate sweep angle of the oar give a live force vs. time graph and show average split time per 500 meters.

Lab Skills: Familiar with supersonic wind tunnel and Schlieren Imaging.
