The smooth successive layers where formed to achieve a desired shape. It wasn't an easy job to get a smooth layer because of the usage of very fine Aluminum powder.

All adjustments such as the powder flow rate, adjusting height of the robot nozzle and many other adjustments the accurate results are obtained.

Additive Re-Manufacturing (ARM) of Automotive tools and dies. Jan 2016-present

Thorough literature review on Thermal Spray, Cold Spray, Laser Welding, Direct Metal Welding and many other processes which supports in repairing or remanufacturing the Tools and Dies in the Automotive Industries.

Studying about the applications of ARM in terms of Lead time, Material efficiency, Resource efficiency, Design flexibility, Production flexibility.

FORMULA SAE HYBRID Sep 2015-present

Active member of a Suspension design team working on to create a double “A” arm wishbone push rod suspension using design software CATIA and NX-UNIGRAPHICS.

Assist other teams in searching a right kind of engine, designing the chassis etc.

Design are based on FSAE 2016 track rules with the specified wheel travel distance and camber angle and the total weight of Sprung and unsprung mass of Car.

ACADEMIC PROJECT:

Process Planning of Nozzle Casing Assembly Nov 2014-Feb 2015

Aerospace Division, HAL (Hindustan Aeronautical Limited) Bangalore, India.

This was one of the project of HAL’s allied partner ISRO (INDIAN SATELLITE RESEARCH ORGANISATION) Bangalore, India. The main task of this project was to prepare a process plan for nozzle casing assembly for the first time in HAL’s history.

Process planning is a systematic procedure of developing and determining an economical method or a series of methods by which a product can be successful manufactured in a given time.

In essence, it establishes an efficient sequence of operations, select proper equipment and tooling, and specifies their operations, in such a manner that the product will meet all requirement stipulated in the specification.

At the same time, the process will be performed at minimum costs and maximum productivity. The time & Cost estimations, Standard Man Hour Rates, Approximate machining time calculations.

Raw Material Configurations for various manufacturing and fabrication process is done and a GANTT CHART is prepared by using all the results obtained during different processes.

Hands of experience in using Westerman Tables for the metal trade revised to Indian standards edited by Hermann.

EXTRA CIRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

An active member in the cultural committee like Chunchana, Played in College Volleyball team for 3 years. Volunteered University level volleyball match, University level athletes. Active participation in college fests in 2013 and 2014.
