Honeywell work included monthly storm water runoff monitoring and reporting, quarterly compliance reporting, focused feasibility studies, preparing health and safety plans (HASPs), preparing job safety assessments (JHAs), Tiered Approach to Corrective Action Objectives (TACO) calculations and reports for soil and groundwater remediation, preparing permits for Corps of Engineers, hazardous waste monitoring and site cleanup, and investigative and compliance soil and groundwater sampling.

Other commercial/industrial client activities included preparing and updating SPCC plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and permits.

One emergency response project consisted of investigating a former lab-pack disposal employee that took drums to his residence for repackaging and sale, which resulted in a fire of his barn. The employee then attempted to bury the drums on his property. The project included Level A response into pit to catalogue contents and support prosecution data collection.

Participated in Hurricane Katrina/Rita USEPA response. Activities included munitions reconnaissance, collection, and disposal; household hazardous waste reconnaissance, collection, and disposal; and commercial/industrial waste (drums and cylinders) collection, waste classification, consolidation, and disposal.

Other long-term projects in support of USEPA START included clean up of dioxin-contaminated sediments from the Tittabawassee River, clean up of PCB-contaminated sediments from the Kalamazoo River, and groundwater investigation of the Velsicol property.

State of Michigan work primarily consisted of supporting remediation projects, including contractor oversight, compliance and investigative sampling, remediation/removal activities, report preparation, and close out. Clean up efforts were conducted under Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), and RCRA.

Examples of State of Michigan projects included an in-situ groundwater vapor extraction system, investigation and clean up of a local dump yard that had contact exceedances and a tire fire, and contaminated soil excavation.

City of Detroit work primarily supported the Greater Detroit Resource Recovery Authority (GDRRA). Activities included daily on-site monitoring of facility, monthly report preparation, and oversight of construction rehabilitation of a transfer station.

Commercial work primarily consisted of compliance support and consulting. Prepared compliance reports including Tier II chemical inventory annual reports; Michigan Air Emissions Reporting System (MAERS) annual reports; Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) annual reports; and SPCC plans.

Other activities included HASP preparation, proposal preparation, CADD drawings, and bid specification preparation.
