MARAFIQ’S facilities included Potable Water Distribution System, Irrigation Water Supply, Seawater Cooling System, Desalination Plants, Reverse Osmosis Plants, Water Treatment Plants, wastewater Treatment Plant etc. I was assigned in Potable water distribution system where desalination plant 1, 2 and RO1,RO 2 and RO3 plants are situated for the position of Planning and Maintenance Engineer.
Preparing scope of work (SOW), technical evaluation form (TEF),SAP stock creation & update form (SCUF),Bill of material (BOM),Annual Overhauling planning, Material inspection and coordinate with supervisor daily routine maintenance jobs at locations.
To ensure that the maintenance crew executes the job maintaining acceptable standards of quality and quantity though extensive site visits. Closely monitor the Contractor’s job for offering the necessary directions to the field personnel while executing the job as per the standard procedures in all the areas of work.
To review the work order for corrective maintenance and approve the cost estimate for same. Monitor the progress and quality of the job and extend technical assistance. Certify the completion of the job and coordinate with planning section for close out of work order. Ensure that SAP system is utilized for approval of work orders.
To review the spare part list of equipments by coordinating with planning section and initiate action for procurement. Explore the possibility of interchanging spare parts with other facilities.
To standardize and group the similar equipment and assign equipment object types for the same. Prepare PM procedure & check list based on the need of the system and manufacture’s recommendation, coordinate with planning and operation section for making the PM plan. Carry out review of the PM procedure and revise as and when required.
Coordinates between outside Contractors & Vendors and maintenance execution and monitors the activities to ensure timely completion and demobilization (External Service work)
