Designation & duration: Specialist– Orthopedics (Jan 2012 – Present)

For more than 4 years I am working in various private and semi-private hospitals as Orthopedic consultant and surgeon. I manage single handedly patients in out patients department, do routine minor orthopedic procedures in side room, manage polytrauma in emergency room, stabilize major fractures and do appropriate planned surgery once patient is stable. I have gained expertise in management of trauma, complex trauma, hand injuries, pediatric deformity correction surgeries and spine surgeries.

Skill summary

I have been conducting Orthopaedic surgeries and consulting patients for more than four years post my masters (DNB). I have also completed certificate courses in Spine Surgery (sponsored fellowship by Medtronics USA) under able guidance of Dr. Rajesh Parasnis. My surgical experience has provided immense exposure to trauma management and handling of critical surgeries like poly-trauma, crush injuries of hand, compound fractures of extremities, deformity correction surgeries, prolapsed intervertebral discs, lumbar canal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, spine fracture dislocation etc.
