Staff Assistant III City of Santa Monica Santa Monica California I am the staff assistant to six staff members of the Santa Monica Airport that includes the Airport Manager, two Airport Operations Specialists, two Property Managers, and an Administrative Analyst. I Secretary the public meetings of the Airport Commission and coordinate maintenance staff at the airport. Prior to me joining the Airport Administration, the filing and procedures had not been updated since the early 1990’s. A majority of the processes were time and labor intensive; however, with the first year I reduced the time and mistakes for most administrative tasks by half mainly through modernizing the filing and office procedures.
