§ Work 40+ hours weekly. My responsibilities include: providing work orders to Machine Shop set-up Personnel and showing them where the product is prior to setup. Making sure Production Operators have work on their assigned machines, and assign work based on the schedule. Motivating Operators and Setup Personnel to perform and meet production requirements. Setting up 3 CNC lathes for production and maintaining integrity of production during my shift. Monitor Work in Progress(WIP) inventory and report and discrepancies to Production Planning. Possess above average knowledge of Macola program, from entering production to releasing new work orders through MRP, to changing levels of the Bill of Material. Above average knowledge of how Forge Shop conducts daily operation, and daily production. Knowledge of Crosby Desktop App of entering PO’s for Crosby products coming and going from the Plant (from vendors), checking where products are and making outsource tags that material handlers create. Am A certified reach truck lift truck driver.

§ Ensuring compliance with all current legislation, codes of practice and relevant standards. Investigate accidents and dangerous occurrences. Serving as the first responder to and investigator of safety incidents and mishaps. Maintaining proper records. Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly and safely. Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing regulatory and compliance data and trends. Making regular site inspections. Producing concise reports for managers on Health and Safety matters. Advising Managers, colleagues of safe working practices. Conducting training courses. Carrying out safety inspections. Performing root cause analysis for incident/accident investigations. Producing risk assessments. Keeping up to date with all new legislation and development in H&S and advising the business of any changes.
