Primary focus of the department is to perform the initial check and evaluation of all HD/SD tape and J2K
file based assets to ensure it satisfies the HBO Standard Technical Broadcast Delivery Requirements.
That determination results in either the content being released for a complete quality control screening
or returned to the production vendor for revisions. Support the evaluators in playing back the asset and
routing the appropriate audio and video signal to each respective screening environment.
