Description:

The Objective of the Project was to design and build a Data Mart for Sales Reporting for Company Uncle Toby’s, Australia which fast & efficient reports were generated using SSRS. This report gives an insight into the various business trends. These reports and statistical analysis helps the decision makers to take better forecasting decisions as well as provide them with a good view of the business data. The various business patterns can be analyzed using the different business dimensions like Product Wise, Company Wise, Branch Wise, Promotion Wise, Customer Wise, Supplier Wise, and Area Wise.

Responsibilities:

Designing the Cubes and Dimensions.

Involving defining, modifying and editing the Relationships between the dimensions and fact tables.

Working with the SSAS storage and partitions, aggregations and calculations.

Implementing Cube Security by Using Roles and Dimension security.

Writing MDX Queries on Analysis Information (cube) to generate the reports.

Developing SSIS packages for any kind of enhancements.

Extensively working in Data Extraction Transformation and loading from source to target system using SQL Server 2008 Integration Services.

Importing source/target tables from the respective data base by using execute package task using control flow tasks in SQL Server 2012 Integration Services.

Description:

Assurant Health is an insurance Company that provides Health Insurance. The main aim of the project is find Various Premiums, Claim paid to the policyholder, Commission paid to the Agents and premium received from the policyholder. We can track the premium by channels, Marketing type and Location.

Key components involved in development of this project are Microsoft Visual Source Safe for storing source code, SQL Server database for storing data, SQL integration services 2008 for extract the data and load the date into warehouse. The database design is based on data warehousing concepts in order to support the development of the business intelligence reports. It will enhance the decision making capabilities of a Brand manager by various reports and graphical charts.

Responsibilities:

Extensively working in Data Extraction Transformation and loading from source to target system using SQL Server 2008 R2 Integration Services.

Importing source/target tables from the respective data base by using execute package task using control flow tasks in SQL Server 2008 R2 Integration Services.

Using lookup, derived, sort, Data Conversion, merge, olden command etc... Transforms, various containers and tasks at control flow level.

Implemented Package Configuration, Message Logging.

As per requirements developed the reports Using SSRS.

Generated multiple Enterprise reports using SSRS from SQL Server Database (OLTP) and included various reporting features such as group by, drilldowns, drill through, sub-reports, navigation reports (Hyperlink) etc.

Responsibilities:

Performed the Creation, manipulation and supporting the SQL Server databases.
