Litigation support
oDeveloped “alternative redistricting plan” using geospatial analytics for Kirwan, Goger, Chesin & Parks, crucial for securing a favorable decision in the landmark US Circuit Court case Johnson, Burke, Zittrouer, DeLoach, and Seaton v. Miller. Upon appeal to the U. S. Supreme Court, Miller v. Johnson, the high court affirmed the Circuit Court decision against “gerrymandered” districts.
oDeveloped key statistical evidence and strategy as consultant to Special Assistant Attorney General Robert E. Wilson and Georgia Attorney General Michael Bowers in one of the most extensive civil investigations ever undertaken by the State of Georgia against Fleet Finance, Inc. Analysis and thematic mapping exhibits were crucial to securing a settlement valued in excess of $100 million, at the time, the largest by any state against a single company under an unfair and deceptive acts and practices statute in United States history.
