Position: Mainframe Lead - Contractor at Infosys with on-site job for TOYOTA in Torrance, CA
As a consultant I worked for Toyota in three departments: Staff Master, Dealer Daily and Vehicle.
Participated in production support in these three systems.
Lead Warranty Legacy System retirement project. Completed this project – retiring the part which sent data to Dealer Daily.
In Staff Master System which is corporate repository of Dealer Personnel data for University of Toyota, I created and updated the online modules which supported Global and US Toyota Dealer personal data.
I created/updated online source modules which were written in COBOL using IMS/DC Databases and DB2 tables. Also, I created and updated the corresponding elements in the following libraries: PSB, MFS, ACB, DBD.
Through the monitors users could browse, update, terminate existing staff and add new staff data.
The information written in IMS and DB2 databases were used not only for the online system but for the batch to create user's reports.
Dealer Daily is a department which was responsible for creation of daily reports using input written in DB2 databases which were created in all other departments and sent the daily reports by schedule or on request to users via WEB services.
In Dealer Daily and Vehicle departments I created and updated members of batch system: PROCs, JOBs, Control Cards and Batch programs which used IMS/DB and DB2 databases, flat files, VSAM files and MQ.
In these departments I supported the following applications: Toyota and Lexus Vehicle Sales, Part Orders, Material Orders, Daily and Monthly Inventory, Financial Statements, Warranty Claims, Registration Certifications and Used Retail Delivery Reports.
Also, made changes in SAS mainframe programs which created users Vehicle reports and I did changes for PROC’s steps which run SAS programs.
For testing and implementation of new and changed elements a Change Man tool was used.
For manual Edit/Browse/Extract/Load IMS Databases and DB2 tables the File Aid tools were used.

Created and implemented multiple batch performance improvements and online enhancement initiatives on MQSeries/BMW for the Global Security Processing (GSP) department.
Collaborated in ‘GSP – ATP OUTSOURCING PHASE 2 – GSP00483’ project created by a merger of the Bank of New York with Mellon Bank. Developed plan of actions as well as coordinated resources to meet objectives and established priorities to meet goals.
Led “GSP – CG SO.450 DEPOSITORY MOVEMENTS” project. This project combined securities trade processing between SMDB (Security Master Database) System, Portfolio Services System (PSS), Global Security Processing (GSP) and Domestic Security Processing (ASP) systems. New programs, maps, database objects, ESDS, KSDS, RRDS files and reports were produced using CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2/imbedded SQL, VSAM, MQ Series.
Collaborated on multiple conversion projects (JP Morgan, Mellon Bank, Prudential Brokerage, etc) to synchronize the data to the BNYM standards.
