Design Associates International (“DAI”) is one of the leading design firms for executive aircraft interiors in the world. More than a dozen Heads of State, scores of corporate executives and many of the world’s most prestigious individuals have chosen Les Jennings to design the interiors of their aircraft and manage the complex process of installation and finishing. The costs of the interior modification of these aircraft have ranged up to $100 Million USD. Few, if any, professional designers in the world have this level of experience. I have been referred to by the media as one of the founding fathers of design for the for transport category aircraft. In this industry,t here are very few people with the ability and talent to perform all required skills to sell, design, build, and install custom interior modifications demanded by the owner. Even fewer designers are knowledgeable of the complicated and often frustrating process of getting aircraft finished to specifications on time and on budget.

Key Achievements:

Designed directed interior installation for USAF 747 E4A, E4B Presidential Command Post;

Designed and dynamically tested 16G cabin chairs for the Cessna Mustang;

Originator of numerous systems and equipment for aviation such as “video on demand,” unique lighting systems, water-based film transfer finishes and aviation Jacuzzi hot tub systems;

Developed new media for aviation sales presentations;

Nominated for Oklahoma Aviation Hall of Fame.
