Conceived of, developed and directed the implementation of a Rapid Prototyping Program, providing us

with an additional customer base.

Conceived of, Implemented and directed a continuous improvement initiative that netted $5 million in

Conceived of, developed, and implemented scientific method of job design (CAJD), which eliminated

modifications and adaptations for the human interface with machinery after installation.

Increased throughput and reduced manpower by redesigning the entire line and the product utilizing

DFM (Design for Manufacturing) on the product, and Lean Manufacturing techniques on the line.

Rescued the T-444 E product line to reduce defects by 73% and reduce labor costs by 50%.

Worked in Plant Engineering; Performed troubleshooting for mechanical aspects of equipment, plant layout,

production flow, and continuous process improvements. Brought in new technologies, new equipment

Reduced monetary expenditures by $615,000 annually in the finishing department.

Created and developed a new saw guidance system that reduced defects on products. ( A 50%

improvement over the incumbent system)

Developed a hand grinder in collaboration with Dotco Corporations design engineering dept that

outlasted their current model by 550%. Dotco adopted the new design and dropped their former design.

Collaborated with Lennox Corporation to develop a superior sawblade for the finishing dept.

Departmental Supervisor of Processing

Managed processing operations on the Oldsmobile 5.0L Intake Manifold for all shifts. Wrote process

documentations, maintained shipping schedules, performed troubleshooting for mechanicals on equipment, and

also served as departmental computer trainer.

Reduced processing defects from 15% to 2%

Reduced customer defects from 4.0% to 1.5%.
