Roles & Responsibilities

Trouble shooting of centrifugal pumps and trouble shooting of agitators and all types of valves like ball,gate,globe,butterfly,plug and safety relief valves.

Planning and modification the pipe lines in plant area, execute the piping as per the ISOMETRIC,P& ID

Dealing with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs.

Planning and allocating the manpower as per scope of work for fabrication and maintenance

P& ID checking and marking.

Identifying material specification and valve specification.

Work order follow up and failure reporting.

Arrange spare parts material and tools for the job.

Assembling, installation, testing and preventive maintenance of mechanical, rotary, static, solid control system.

Periodically checkup, inspection of machinery and equipment as per company and manufactures schedule.

Supervise the work performed by junior staff and provide them technical and physical support.

Makes daily maintenance report and send it to supervisor with observation and recommendations..

ROTATING EQUIPMENT

TURBINE

Gas Turbine - Solar & G.E.:

Commissioning and Preventive Maintenance of like Fuel Lines and Fuel Nozzles, Spark Plugs, Flame Detectors and Leads, Combustion Liners, Crossfire and Packing for Above Components.

Visual inspection of the following Transition Pieces, First Stage Nozzle and First Stage Buckets (as accessible) without removing combustion casing or turbine shell,

Baroscopic Inspection of the ‘Hot Gas Path’ Components.

Visual Inspection on the inlet for Foreign Objects, Damage Fouling or corrosion.

Visual Inspection and Weld repairs as may be necessary in the Exhaust system, VIGV (Variable Inlet Guide Vane)

Hot Gas Path Inspection

Removal of Upper Half Turbine Casing, Transition Pieces, Turbine Nozzle Assemblies, Turbine Buckets Sets, Alignment Check (if Required),

Major Inspection

Combustion & Hot Gas Path Inspection, Turbine Nozzles and Buckets

Removal of All Upper Half Casing, Casing Inspection, Rotor and Stator, Shrouds, Couplings, Turbine Bearing & Seals, Gear Box, Load Equipment, Auxiliary Equipment, Alignment Check etc.

MECHANICAL SEAL

Checking shaft run out, axial float, Radial lift, Squarness and Eccentricity checking and seal changing, Single seal, Tandem seal and Double back to back seal. Double face to face and oil seal changing, Bellow seal and cartage seal changing.

BEARING

Checking Bearing ply and clearance, Thrust Bearing, Journal Bearing, Roller Bearing, Ball, Taper Roller, Double grove roller and all types of Bearing changing.

GEAR BOX

Worked in Philadelphia, Rondalph, and all types of Gear boxes servicing and Gear teeth checking, Bearing and seal changing and replaced the gear oils.

FAN AND BLOWERS

Having experience to change the blade angels belt aligning tensioning in the pulley with driver.

STATIC EQUIPMENTS

Heat Exchanger - Fixed Head, Floating Head, ‘U’ Tube Type & Plate Heat Exchangers.

Maintenance: - Cleaning by Chemical, hydro jetting, Roding, Brushing and Air during Hydro Test, if any tubes leakages plug it, Hydro test again and boxed up.

Test - Shell Test, Tube Test, Reverse Test – shell & Tube Test.

Columns & Vessels

Opening of Main hole after proper Isolation, removal of damaged columns trays. Caps valve / Bubbles type, demister – repair of the same under annual turn around the unit.

Different Type of Valves

Gate Valves, Globe Valves, Butterfly Valves (Shutdown Valves), Motor Operated Valves, Control Valves, Safety Relief Valves.

Maintenance:-

Replacement of upper & lower Journal of M.O.V. Gland packing, seat ring etc.

Complete services of valves and lapping of seat.

Testing

Safety Valves

Repairing Seat lapping, Pressure Setting by Nitrogen or Oxygen Cylinder Sheet Lapping compound and Emery paste or Diamond paste.

ALIGNMENT

Misalignment is a single major cause of most failure of rotating equipment it will load to failure of cuplings and Bearing seals as well other components.

As aresult of high vibration hence it is important to check the alignment periodically under preventive maintenance.

Alignment is a Co inside of the Axia for Driven and Driver shaft cold and Hot method worked in Lazer method, Rim and face method, Graphical, Reverse Indicator method.

DIESEL ENGINE

Having running maintenance experience in Kirlosker, Caterpiller and Detroid engines involved preventive maintenance, oil changing, Oil Filters, and Air filter and radiator, Fan belt changing and Rectify startup problem.

SAFETY DEVICES
