EXPECTATION

I am a willing to learn person, I just graduated from a Business Administration course so I want to practice what I have learned. I want to live in Philippines so that I can train my English skills better and learn new industrial office soft and hard cores. I always have an open-minded and a ‘can-do’ attitude both at my current part-time job and my life.

My target is to be recognized and be respected by people around me for example my parents, my friends and my co-workers. I was from the North but I am now living in the South of Vietnam to challenge myself and test my adaptability. I hope Philippines will nest me so that I can also experience new life in a brand new place.

EXPERIENCE

1.October Hotel and Resort – 151 Thuy Van, Vung Tau, Vietnam

Position: Part-time Receptionist

I have been working here since 2015 till now. The main job is to check-in and checkout guests. I also help marketing team with their seasonal campaign for example posting on the Hotel’s website and Social Media pages like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.

What I have gained from the job was the improvement of my English skills, my communication skills with foreigners and on top of that: my confidence.

2.Tutor – Nam Dinh

Position: Part-time Tutor

I did this job for 6 months from March 2013 to October 2013 in my relative’s Learning Center. My tasks were to contact parents and inform them about the current status of their children while they studied at the center.

I was also asked to help the students who struggled with their homework and explained to them in Vietnamese so that they can understand the lessons better.

VOLUNTARY ACTIVITIES

1.The Blue Summer Campaign – 2013, Ha Noi, Vietnam

I donated my blood to the Red Cross Organization this summer. I also helped to control the traffic in the city center during peak hours.

2.Volunteer at Thien Quang Pagoda, Nam Dinh

I helped to cook food for 200 people every half month and end month lunar calendar.
