System Integration SME – I was leading designing and building HL7 & Lawson S3 (ERP) integrated solutions, using Cloverleaf and integration best practices for the health care clients all over the Middle East. The hospital interfaces were implemented among HIS, EMRs, and Lawson S3 modules. The hospital integration included the transactions like patient registration, admission, updates, orders, results, and charges. I was a point person to integrate HIS or 3rd party vendor systems with Lawson S3 modules i.e. SCM and Finance/GL. Enterprise Integration Architect – This was a high level position worked in an internationally cultural environment where west meets east to pool the best of the talent, the world has to offer.

Designed new interface work packages to integrate Lawson S3 (ERP) modules (SCM, AP, CM, HR, TM, etc.) and Cerner (CIS) system with diversified third party vendor applications using different protocols (TCP/IP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTPS, and Web services) and data formats (HL7, XML, SWIFT, EDIFACT, X12, HR XML). Henry Ford Health System – Detroit, Michigan NOV 11 to JUL 12

Systems Analyst Leader. I was responsible for research & analysis of current and future system integration in this hospital system, recommended changes in the overall architecture of HL7 interfaces in an effort to replace current HIS/LIS (SUNQUEST and Others) with EPIC, deployed the recommended solution in Cloverleaf interface engine. I developed numerous interfaces (ADT, patient orders, results, and billing) between EPIC and all other EMR and lab applications. I configured and built interfaces in Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf. Health Management Systems - Nashville, Tennessee OCT 10 to APR 11

Worked on a research and redesign project for integrating the Ambulatory EHR system with the HMS’s Hospital Information system. I investigated and analyzed the attributes and data handling of the most popular healthcare products i.e. ALLSCRIPTS and eClinicalWorks, in order to be able to recommend HMS a better solution for its potential customers. Mirth and JavaScript were used on this project. Worth, Texas: Lead the activity of building North Texas Specialty Physician’s data warehouse system with three more resources and documented the AS-IS and TO-BE analysis. Some of the vendor applications that are integrated among these departments are Oacis, MISYS/SUNQUEST, Endosoft, Quest, RL-Solution, IDX, SoftMed, and Siemens. My day-to-day duties included requirement-gathering, business analysis, writing specifications of the interfaces, developing interfaces, mapping and analysis of HL7 data, configuring and administering Cloverleaf interface engine, integrated testing using Cloverleaf test objects, report writing in Access and Crystal Reports, and providing technical support to end users.

Senior Technical Services Analyst: Managed numerous projects to deploy the client-server software (HCLL) of Mediware at its customers’ sites. This software is a blood-bank management application coupled with a HL7 interfacing software also provided by Mediware. Its clientele includes hospitals, labs, and blood banks all over the world. Assisted sales team to respond to Mediware’s clients’ queries and to customize the HL7 integrated solution. Installed, configured, and built the customers’ servers either on Mediware’s customers’ sites or remotely from Mediware’s site, compiled technical training manuals, conducted group training sessions for their system administrators at customers’ sites, and provided the remote support to Mediware’s customers by accessing their network/servers through VPN tunnels.
