PROJECT 1 MINI PROJECT
Title: Robotic Welding in Production field: To know the basic Knowledge of Robotic Welding and how to apply it in production field.
Description: The objective of the study is to use robotic welding where welding cannot be done manually and how it can be installed, use effectively and precautions to be taken.
PROJECT 2 MAJOR PROJECT
Title: Design And Analysis of automobile chassis: Designing of automobile chassis through Pro-E software and analyzing through ansys software and finite element method.
Description: The objective of the present work is to design and analyse steel chassis made and also polymeric composite heavy vehicle chassis made of three different composite materials viz., Carbon/Epoxy, E-glass/Epoxy and S-glass /Epoxy composites. Polymeric composite heavy vehicle chassis was created in CREO. Model is imported in ANSYS 12.0 for analysis by applying normal load conditions.
After analysis a comparison is made between exisisting conventional steel chassis and polymeric composite heavy vehicle chassis viz., Carbon/Epoxy, E-glass/Epoxy and S-glass /Epoxy in terms of deflections and stresses, to choose the best one. From the results, it is observed that the polymeric composite heavy vehicle chassis is lighter and more economical than the conventional steel chassis with similar design specifications.
