Riser and Blowout Preventer (BOP) Designer: Investigated problem submitted by clients. Redesigned components, then detailed them for manufacture. Equipment and components designed: subsea BOP stacks, Jack-up stacks, marine risers, valves, bracketing and misc. oil related equipment, large welded assemblies.
Software Platform: Pro-Engineer CREO 2 and AutoCad ver 2014.

Piping Designer (contract) on HMS and Ponchartrain Projects:
Plant layout design/Piping Designer: Job responsibilities include performing piping design, brackets, and plant layout design. Designing of piping systems required knowledge of valves, fittings, pumps, pipe racks, miscellaneous industrial equipment. Plant layout included knowledge of structural steel, platforming, handrails and stairs. Design from initial concept to producing engineering drawings, ISO’s and P&ID’s.
Software Platform: PDMS 3D plant layout design software and Microstation ver 8.

Work designed, modeled and drafted on NX2 and TeamCenter.

Job entailed modeling the fuselage of Boeing 737 aircraft in detail, determining the proper positioning of electronic systems and various sensors, designing brackets to hold them, determining the best routing path for wiring and then designing wiring harnesses to complete the design.
