Application Development Manager, Division of Child Support (DCS)

This management position sets the strategic/ tactical direction and directs the work of multiple development teams which are comprised of IT supervisors that manage senior professional level technical staff. These teams use a wide variety of technologies and skill sets in the development of the DCS enterprise applications which run on mainframe, server and work station platforms. Additionally coordinates with DSHS Executive Management, and other division representatives, for problem resolution and installation of new releases of software.

This position supports 11 offices with 1,300+ staff statewide, 39 prosecuting attorney offices, and other divisions and departments who rely on Division Child Support information. Additionally 3,000 parents serving 150,000+ clients and paying $100+ million per month to nearly 30,000 custodial parents.

Serves as a technical mentor, coach, and trainer to other technical positions. Additionally this position serves on ISSD Application Review Board (ARB), and Disaster Recovery team (DR).

Oversees and participates in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
