Ability to create complex drawings using

CAD software.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and

visualize the features of a part.

Ability to safely perform layout, sawing,

drilling, tapping, turning, and milling

operations.

instruments such as vernier height gage,

calipers, micrometers and indicators.

Ability to perform basic math calculations as

well as algebra, geometry and right-triangle

tolerance.

Ability to write CNC programs by hand for

turning and milling simple parts.

Ability to troubleshoot and edit existing CNC

programs to optimize cycle times.

Ability to accurately touch-off tools and set

offsets.

Ability to operate, setup and manufacture

simple parts using 3 Axis CNC machines.

Ability to operate, setup and manufacture

complex parts using CAM software and 4&5

Axis CNC machines.
