PROFILE
This Curriculum Vitae represents the 28 years experience I have had working in the construction industry. I have risen through the ranks from an initial trade background as Apprentice Joiner up to my current role as Contracts Manager/Project Builder. I have had significant experience of commercial, multi-residential and industrial style projects.
I have enjoyed all the roles I have carried out to date, some have been more demanding than others, but nonetheless they have provided me with essential skills, knowledge and experience, particularly covering a variety of aspects within the building and construction industry.
The management skills I have carried out have specifically provided me with an excellent foundation on which to progress and build on. The roles and responsibilities have improved my confidence and abilities in order to feel comfortable in taking on any future responsibilities or challenges.
I have had to deal with a number of challenging obstacles throughout my roles and feel this only stands me in good stead when dealing with the reality of management and the typical hurdles that this type of role consists of. I have maximised my potential within all roles and enjoy getting the best out of people by motivation and leading by example. My consistent strong communication skills have often been highlighted by those I have worked with as a key skill I possess.
At present, I have SMSTS qualification (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme as at February 2014) and am a qualified First Aider.

Joiner/Fitter

HIGHWAY GLASS & LOCKS FRANCHISE (Blackburn) 1997 1999
