Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensure proper toll collection processes are followed and toll is duly collected and submitted.

Manages the toll department including functional and organizational management of all staff forming part of it.

Prepares reports, analysis and forecasts of toll revenue for the concessionaire and submits recommendations to maximize returns in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

Management of toll customer comments, complaints or suggestions

Management of the department staffs.

Organizes activities of the toll and customer service center section to ensure effective implementation of departmental plans, effective customer care and achievement of objectives

Establishes the toll department: finalization of operational manuals and job descriptions, development of collection and banking procedures,statiscal analysis,recruitment,participation in the commissioning of the facilities.

Performs all activities related to management of staff including defining roles,responsibilities,provides leadership, develops team work, setting goals,priorities,faciliting work, removing barriers,resoloving differences,counseling,appraising performance, training and developing staff.

Provides inputs and regular updates to the toll policy including priority areas and objectives.

Prepares and updates plans, budgets and monitor the fund transfer process and submit the same to operation and maintenance manager for approval.

Operates together with toll audit section regarding independent audits required on toll collection functions and manage follow-up actions to resolve discrepancies.

Manages the operation of the Central Toll Computer System (CTCS) in accordance with the operational manual and procedures.

Maintains a broad understanding of manual lane, point of sale and plaza computer system (PCS) Operation.

Supervises the management of the Electoral and Electronic (E &E) maintenance.

Reviews and approves projections for manpower requirements, materials consumptions, and requirements for regular part time and contractual staffs.

Prepares regular and ad hoc management reports according to procedures.

Acts as the necessary communication line between the hierarchy and other staff of the section,

Checks and enforces all policies particularly covering work attitude, attendance, dress code, grooming and personal appearance.

Participates in training sessions.

Monitors the implementation of operating plans against forecast and prepares various reports accordingly.

Monitors compliance with procedure and quality standards and objectives.

Maintain normal office environment, on site toll plazas, on call position.

Assurance of minimal closure of lanes, minimal or no incidence of toll leakages, minimal or no run out of toll-related consumbles, materials, suppliers or spare parts.
