Tank Design Mechanical & Structural Drawing Engineering Design Acumen

•Experience with software applications such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Inventor, Solid Edge, Catia, Bentley Micro-Station, Solid Works, Micro-Soft Office Suite and Project Wise.

•Extensive, hands-on mining experience with both development and production mining.

•Superior supervisory skills within underground, open pit and general construction mining operations.

•Demonstrated experience in the design, construction and QA for the fabrication of mining process pressure vessels.

•Experience in the design detail of tanks using API 650 and API 620.

•Experience in piping design with knowledge of pipe schedules, fittings, and Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic.

•Specialization in the design, procurement and fabrication of equipment for high pressure acid leach and pressure oxidation hydrometallurgical process plants.

•Design experience in accordance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII Division I & II, B31.3, and the associated ASME, ANSI and ASTM standards.

•Design experience with the following systems and technology:

•Pressure vessel design per ASME; consultant and client specifications

•Refractory lined pressure vessels

•Agitated tank and vessels

•In-shop QA for equipment constructed from exotic metals including explosion bonding, titanium, duplex stainless steel, tantalum, nickel alloys, and ceramics

•Potash solution mining process flow drawings; plant layout drawings; 3D modeling

•Preparation of Red Line drawings from construction to final as-built drawings submitted to the client

•Developed process flow drawings (PFD) for Potash Solution Mine.

•Utilized APD AutoCAD for 3D modeling and Mechanical Layouts on various potash projects.

Barrick Gold, Pueblo Viejo Project - Oxidation Facilities

Provisioned EPCM services for the pressure oxidation and air separation unit (ASU) facilities at the Pueblo Viejo gold mine development in the Dominican Republic, including four autoclave trains (24,000 t/d) featuring the world's largest brick-lined autoclaves at 800 tonnes each. The project also included vent gas handling systems, custom slurry flashing systems, refractory lining design, and associated ancillaries such as a high-pressure steam-boiler plant and water treatment plant, as well as support ancillaries for a 4,000-t/d O2 ASU facility.
