Experienced in extraction of oils using different methods, physical and chemical analysis of the vegetable oils, its blends and shortening, storage stability, lipid oxidation, oxidative stability and thermal stability of vegetable oils and its blends, lipid profiling, enzymatic interesterification of oil blends and its characterization, lipid degradation, development of functional foods and its quality characteristics, evaluation of natural antioxidants/ active ingredients of oils and fats such as tocopherols, tocotrienols, phytosterols, carotenoids, squalene, lignans, oryzanols, phenolics, coenzyme Q10 and others.

Overall Quality incharge on final products. Ensuring hygiene and food safety in plants. Ensuring quality of products from raw material up to dispatch. Conduct risk assessments according to HACCP specification. Approval and rejections of finished products, Authorize change in documents according to QMS. Plan and coordinate the routine production as specified. In process checking activities. Manage documentation of finished product as per the company requirements. Responsible for managing process capability study. Overall responsibility carries out calibration of lab equipments and processing equipments as per company requirements. Familiar with Calibration and handling of various sophisticated instruments such as spectrophotometer, gas chromatography (GC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and analytical balance and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).

Computational Skills

Expertise in various computer applications including Operating System- Windows 9X/2000/XP/Wista/7 and Applications-Ms Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MSPaint, Statistical software.
