I worked at the Nemak and GE Power Controls plant as a Commissioning Engineer. Most production lines were based on Siemens S7

and GE PacSystems PLCs, Siemens HMIs and IPCs, Sirius and PILZ safety bus, Intelligent Air Circuit Breakers, Feeder Protection Systems, pressure and temperature sensors, position switches, motors etc. My duties included:

Creating and commissioning PLC’s logic for melting furnaces and cooling area of aging metal process, encompassing data exchange between PLCs.

Creating and developing HMIs for the melting furnace and aging furnace(Siemens TP 1200, Simatic IPC 447D).

Being responsible for commissioning over 10 mid-voltage switchboards running on GE RX3i PLCs for GE Power Control.

Configuring about 10 VFD’s (Vacon, Micromaster) parameters and commissioning them.

Creating and developing electrical wiring diagrams (See Electrical Expert).

Verifying and correcting proper electrical connections.

Cooperating with the customer, ordering crucial sensors/equipment, commissioning new production lines.

Developing and commissioning Safety PLCs (PILZ, Sirius) lines software (powering, protecting safety zones, E-Stop management and others).

Conducting 3 courses for beginners in GE RX3i /90-30 PLC programming and 2 courses for Quick Panel applications.

Automation Engineer – ARNAP, Bielsko-Biala, Poland (August 2013 - October 2014)

I was responsible for drawing wiring diagrams and solving technical problems with industrial valves as well as electric and pneumatic actuators. After submitting the (set) valve with electro-pneumatic kit, I commissioned it at the industrial facility. My duties included:

Programming over HART protocol, advanced electro-pneumatic positioners, based on PID regulator.

Creating and developing electrical and pneumatic wiring diagrams for control kits and commissioning them.

Creating and developing 3D models of electro-pneumatic control kits with industrial valves (IronCAD).

Consulting and solving client's technical problems, remotely in English.

Being involved in servicing electric and pneumatic actuators for Emerson Process Management and PKN Orlen.

Working in a highly explosive environment such as gas pumping stations and power stations.
