Description: The Dynamic View is a dynamically generated representation of the metadata in the eDOCS DM Library that provides a hierarchical view of that data within the DM Extensions. A Dynamic View usually is presented in two levels: a Subscription level (which commonly includes a parent-child hierarchy representing two validation tables such as Practice Area and Matter); and an Enumeration level (which commonly lists Document Type values).

Email Filing is a collection of applications that helps users file emails to the eDOCS DM Library by making these activities simple and intuitive. Email Filing consists of two primary components: a server installation and a client installation.

The server installation consists of the Email Filing Service, a Windows service that files the emails sent from the Email Auto Bulk Filing client into the eDOCS DM Library. The client installation typically consists of the Email Auto Bulk Filing, Email Marker, and Email Filing Assistant modules. 15152 NW TWOPONDS DR, PORTLAND OR 97229 USA Shailendra Kumar Saxena - Page 5 of 8 The custom integration solution is to replicate Practice Area and Matter values and related data from the Passport application into Wal-Mart's eDOCS DM Library so that it can be used as validation data on Profiles and so that it can be used to implement a Matter-centric Dynamic View. E-learning, while very cost effective does not yield the performance results the business requires in key content areas. Distance Education style training has a potential for substantial savings compared to ILT, while maintaining or reducing the time necessary to develop critical skills and knowledge within Wal-Mart’s field population. Wal- Mart will select and implement a technology-based Distance Education solution and will create a third party delivery platform for training content to be delivered to Wal-Mart Division1; which includes Wal-Mart Stores, Supercenters, Neighborhood Markets, all Puerto Rico formats and one system in the Talent Development area of the Home Office.

Role: QA Lead

Environments: Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, Quality Center 10.0, HTML5 and SharePoint Project: HR – Manitoba Holiday Pay

Duration: Apr 25, 2011 – Jun 30, 2011

Client: Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

Location: Bentonville, AR USA

Description: The Province of Manitoba in Canada had a change in the calculation for holiday pay on April 29th, 2007 due to Provincial legislative changes. Since the revised law took effect, the current SMART system is calculating holiday pay incorrectly by calculating holiday pay based on associates earned wages on 15 of the previous 30 calendar days. The new provincial legislation requires that holiday pay be calculated on 5% of Associate’s earned wages (not including overtime pay) in the 4 week period immediately before the holiday. The 4 week period is 28 days counting back the day before the holiday. The populations affected are all full-time, part-time, and temporary associates for both active/inactive Mid- Level and Hourly.

As a temporary solution, Canada ISD has assisted the 13 Manitoba stores using a workaround process which manually extracts and filters data to calculate & authorize holiday pay. This manual process has increased costs associated with processing holiday pay and increased business risk because the system is not in compliance.
