11/11 - 2/15
CNC Machinist
I setup and operated CNC lathes using a caps conversational programming system. The machine was a Mori Seiki 603 SL. I cut different materials including hard-facing and all types of steel aluminum, brass, and bronze. I Q.C. my own parts using veneers, calipers, mics, depth gages and bore gages (i.e., ID mics)
Wilson Machine and Tool
6/10 - 11/11
CNC Machinist
I setup and operated Okuma lathes using IGF interface and programming. I cut my own material write the program load the program in the machine and start the part. Using offsets and the program I adjust the part per the blueprint. I QC my own work and prepare it for the next step of the process or prepare it for shipping. I have supervised a small group of people on second shift. I also worked with Mori Seiki and Mazak CNC’s using Fanuc controls. The Okuma were conversational machines so I wrote my own programs using the IGF interface. We used bar stock and cast to machine the parts, which were held to close tolerances up to .0005 of an inch.
United Brassworks Inc.
4/08 - 6/10
CNC Setup Technician
I setup various CNC lathes including, Takisawa, Emco, Hyundai Kia, Tornos, and Gildemeister. I made sure first part was within specs and then turned the machine over to an operator. I used calipers mics, and other measuring devices to machine the part to print. We used overhead cranes to move pallets along with pallet jacks. The machines were mainly Fanuc controls and Siemens controls. We used bar stock and cast to run the parts.
The Timken Company

CNC Machinist
I started out as a machine operator and then became a setup operator after a couple of months. I setup and ran Giddings and Lewis lathes. They were twin turret lathes. I measured my own parts using calipers, mics, height gages, and plug and ring gages.
