In this position and other positions I have held, I have learned a great deal about customer service, both for internal and external customers. Summary of Qualifications

I have 14 years of experience working in a business office and understand the intricacy that comes with close work environment. My duties include the chat team, email and letter correspondence team, to my latest position as digital media relations senior. My career involves setting up directives and best practices for the business, and looking to drive the lean process. I thrive in a busy atmosphere, and enjoy meeting new challenges. I have a great deal of experiencing handling cash, credit, and checks in regards to accounts reconciliation to ensure proper posting charges. I address many administrative duties in regards to email handling, day to day scheduling concerns, process rebates and exchanges to customers as well as trade partners, maintain accurate records and report discrepancies to management. I help set up meetings for the marketing, business, and social media teams, process set up office, email changes, and setting up documents in Google. In other positions I handle customer compliments to promote positive work attitudes to ensure they are rewarded as part of a continuing effort to boost a positive work environment. I have helped with hiring of new employees and directing employee concerns to management and the appropriate departments. Data entry is also a part of my day to day job. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google, SAP, Lotus Notes, and MS Office. I am a fast learner and can learn any needed systems as my work history and education have provided me a great deal of experience in these areas. Digital Media Specialist, Whirlpool Corporation, Benton Harbor, Michigan August 2012 to Present

Organized and updated the regulations for posting on Whirlpool Corporation brand sites including Twitter and Facebook. We help to draw attention to our brand by drawing in contacts and bloggers, and addressing customer concerns to address negative situations. We alert corporate teams and legal departments to online situations and use current policy to address concerns. I handle many customer and trade partner emails on a daily basis and I also ensure that information is shared with many departments as needed depending on the situation. I set up meetings on our teams to discuss new tactics, and I have set up and maintained several files in Google for our teams, but to also be shared with other departments. We work closely with marketing, legal, management, and trade partner teams to facilitate communication between the teams and to share best practices.

Whirlpool/Maytag/KitchenAid Chat, Whirlpool Corporation, Benton Harbor, Michigan July 2011 – August 2012

I answer each customer's inquiry individually, assist with grievances, and help direct them to find help and assistance within the policy of the company. I offer solutions and help if the website will not offer the support the customer desires. I enjoyed being able to set up best practices to provide insight and offer solutions within the policy. I directed larger concerns or issues to management as needed for proper handling.

Correspondence, Whirlpool Corporation, Benton Harbor, Michigan May 2009 – July 2011

I answered letters and emails and helped to retain the records for the future. I was later appointed the letter administrator, distributing the letters to other team members. I answered all letters and emails that were about appliance and product recalls. I also started the correspondence recall team and I was asked to personally train the recall team for all aspects of recalls including possible legal ramifications in working with the Consumer Product Safety Commission. I set policy that is still in use today.

I took calls for customer concerns and organized them in the system. I helped ensure that customer concerns were handled in an appropriate manner and consistent with company policy. I ensured that files were forwarded that needed further handling or needed management approval. I ensured that all sales and processed sale information was documented.

Unit Clerk, Lakeland Medical Center, Saint Joseph, Michigan December 1999 – June 2007

I would take doctors orders and organize the information so the patients would receive medications and medical treatments as required by reporting laws and policy of the hospital. I was in charge of ordering supplies for the floor, cleaning the toys that were in patient rooms, and over all cleanliness of the store. I ensured that medications and intravenous fluid orders were sent to the pharmacy for filling, and stored in the medicine room for future patient use. I set up appointments for ancillary departments, like respiratory therapy, radiology department, physical therapy, and assisted social workers with finding home treatment supplies as required by doctor order.

Human Resource Generalist, Peg Williamson Employment Agency February 1996 – December 1999

I handled all items related to human resources including filing, benefit questions, hiring information, retirement benefit, employee suspension issue, layoff filing, setting up benefit enrollment meetings, employee forms receiving and handling, and other needs as required by the director of human resources. I worked as a receptionist for the department but also handled direct questions in regards to all human resource department guideline as well as duties as required by the director of human resources.

I would reconcile cash, checks, and credit card payments to ensure proper accounting in the system. I cleared discrepancies in the record system to ensure that the accounts added up. I ran nightly and monthly reports to send to our corporate headquarters for filing. I completed check in and housekeeping sheets for proper turnover. I was the manager at night and handled customer check in, check out and customer complaints.
