Pharmacy Senior Inventory Analyst, Hoffman Estates, IL

Established a forecasting method that aids in forecasting monthly receipts averaging $106 million. Also works with category manager and financial team to ensure monthly rebate incentives are met, stores are stocked with correct drugs to handle customer prescriptions, and that ending inventory levels do not exceed $150 million.

Designed two inventory management tools to support forward buys. One determines which products are needed the most and which quantities are needed in order to aid category manager in reaching monthly incentive targets of $2 – 2.4 million, the other tracks compliance of previously completed forward buys to increase sell-through and improve the GMROI.

Created a Non-Productive Inventory metrics that identified $24 million worth of product that was not being utilized to the best interest of the company, and then followed up by readjusting reorder points and notifying District Manager where they could reallocate product to stores that were more likely to dispense it.

Collaborates with Director of Compliance to process SOM reports for pharmacies that have oversold their monthly allotted C2 drug levels and have been cut off by the DEA to determine if they should be permitted to receive more product that month. Drug Store Inventory Analyst, Hoffman Estates, IL

Responsible for 5 Categories worth $131 million in annual sales spread out over 1300 stores.

Part of volunteer research team tasked with determining if settings defined in RPM (Replenishment Parameter Maintenance) were still necessary and if not then deleting or updating them, and creating new settings. Result was a reduction in NPI (Non-Productive Inventory) in DC’s of $1.78 million.

Collaborated with vendor and internal marketing department, to correct a potential lose in ad sales due to supply issues with grouping of items by suggesting the creation of a new ad that would showcase a different grouping of items that were overstocked in the DC’s resulting in sales $225,000 greater than original estimate.

Adjusted forecast data and reorder points through INFOREM for slow moving stores that corrected for $1.13 million in overstocked items.

Brought a category of product that had been at no more than a 92% presentation in-stock standard back in line with the 97.5% rating within six weeks of moving into new position by identifying problem products and working with vendors to ensure correct amount of product was shipped to each store.

Developed a display analysis method that was used to better identify how many display assortments should go to each store without overstocking.
