Teaching Assistant, University of Wisconsin- Madison, Jan 2015- Present

Responsible for grading assignments and exams, organizing discussion sessions for students, maintaining office hours & helping them with homework problems and exams. Project Intern, Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Jan 2014 – May 2014

Worked on Modeling and Structural Analysis of Landing Gear using Finite Element Analysis, ANSYS Workbench and SolidWorks.

Industrial Trainee, Bharat Dynamics Limited, May 2013- August 2013

Determined the design parameters such as aerodynamic coefficients and propulsion parameters and calculated range of the Anti-Tank Guided Missile using FORTRAN. SKILLS

Computing Languages: C, C++, JAVA, EES, MATLAB, FORTRAN. Modeling Packages: CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

Simulation/ Analysis Packages: ANSYS, SolidWorks, MATLAB, MAPLE, GAMBIT, FLUENT. SELECTED PROJECTS

Digital Image Correlation(DIC) of Heterogeneous Materials

The methods of 3D-DIC, is applied to specimens like Kolsky bar, foam-core, carbon reinforced fiber bars, polymer composite to detect the strain concentration, associated with the initiation of crack leading to material failure. Tailgater- Friendly Stadium Chair

Designed and proto-typed a seating arrangement of Stadium Chairs to upgrade the end user experience. Tools used were SolidWorks and Injection Molding Unit. Basic failure analysis was done with the help of ANSYS. Fracture Mechanics and Vibrational Analysis of Composite beams.

Stress intensity factor K1 for 3 modes of fracture is calculated using strain gages and fatigue testing machine. The experimental data was there compared with theoretical data obtained from ANSYS models. Experimental Mechanics of Composite Sandwich Structures.

Material properties of Honeycombed Sandwich structures were determined using strain gages and Fracture testing machine. These data were then compared with the statistical data obtained from ANSYS. Aerodynamics of NACA 2412 airfoil.

Developed a computer program using MATLAB that models a 3-D airfoil with streamlines and velocity field around it.

Design and Analysis of Spinning ride.

A ride was designed using SolidWorks for just two passengers and to have at least two non-collinear angular velocity components during operation.
