Empire Marketing Services

Report directly to Human Resources Director, as we comprise the entire HR Team for over 1000 Empire Employees, in 20+ states.

Interim HR Lead on all issues for entire Company effective 1/16/2015-3/2/2015.

Primary point of contact for all Empire Employees, including, but not limited to day to day HR, Benefits. issues, Payroll issues, Onboarding items, Reviews, Discipline, Leave of Absence, Employment Verifications, STD/LTD (32 YTD 2015), Workman’s Comp (26 YTD 2015),401k Quarterly Enrollments, Terminations ( 78 YTD 2015) and various day to day tasks.

Opened the lines of communication with all office locations and HR.

Onboarding for all new hires, including setting up in Paycor/ADP, and all benefit enrollments. Handled 210+ new employees in 2015.

Solely responsible for the onboarding and logistics for a 35+ person hiring initiative in April 2015.

Deal directly with all 20+ area Presidents and their support staff, regarding their employees.

Maintained all employee files in Paycor and HR Share Drive.

Company Recruiter, typically handling 1-2 openings at a time. Have directly hired 19 employees.

Payroll: Was solely responsible for the bi weekly Payroll for the entire Company. Gather time, attendance and expense logs from 16 office locations. Record all payroll and then enter into Citrix. 8/2013-10/2014

Played a key role in the conversion from Paycor to ADP 10/2014. Was instrumental in assuring the first pay and subsequent pays were accurate.

Assisted Company Controller during the 2013 Open Enrollment, which included verification of over 500 full time employee and their new benefits selections.

Visited 13 /16 offices in November 2014, to educate and Facilitate the 2015 Open Enrollment. Verified Open Enrollment selections, including Wellness/Preventative and Supplemental Surcharges for 550 enrollees.

Worked in conjunction with our Benefits Broker to enroll over 50+ Employees (and dependents) that were not included in our conversion to Anthem effective 1/1/2015, in addition to handling all questions, calls and benefit enrollment problems.

Champion of the Inaugural Wellness Program, which had over 80% participation in 2013, 85% participation in 2014.

Co-Chairperson for the 2014, 2015, 2016 Community Involvement/Wellness Initiative that included quarterly volunteering /community involvement/wellness events.
