aircraft. Looking for long term contract or direct position.

Extensive solid modeling experience and design using ASME Y14.5 tolerance standard.

Experienced in primary structures, structural frames, fuselage stringers, intercostals, composite primary and secondary structural components, seats, floors and honeycomb panels.

Experience with liaison engineering, repairs and structural engineering support for small aircraft like Learjet, Beechcraft and Gulfstream.

Extensive knowledge of aircraft structure, material strengths and properties, design criteria, loading conditions and processes (e.g. non-destructive testing, corrosion prevention, etc).

New design of primary composite structure of a new, small aircraft. Parts include fuselage skins, frames & wings. Design of parts and tools needed to fabricate parts made of CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) and some aluminum parts. Using CATIA V5-V6, R24, and SolidWorks 2013.

Acted as Final Assembly Structures and Interiors Integration engineer on the new Global 7000/8000 business jet program. Involved with design of structure attachments of interior monuments. Also included cockpit liners and interior attachments. Coordinated with different design groups for compliance. Contacted and coordinated design requirements with vendors and other design groups. Prepared also aircraft systems ICD drawings, using CATIA V5 R21 and ENOVIA VPN.

SR. STRUCTURES ENGINEER (Contract)

Assisted with structural aircraft modifications on a Delta 767-300 aircraft program, full interiors retrofit.

Structural modifications included floor beams, intercostals and interior hard points, seat-track modifications, fuselage frame and tie-rod attachments of interior monuments to the aircraft structure. Sheet metal and machined parts. Mostly aluminum, but also stainless steel and titanium.

Assisted onsite Boeing and at the vendor, with 737 galley flammability certification issues. Checked vendor drawings versus Boeing & FAA’s requirements, wrote flammability test reports and revisions, coordinated flammability certification issues between vendor and Boeing.

787 FINAL ASSEMBLY MFG. ENGINEER (Contract)

Responsible for manufacturing plans at the final assembly production line of the new B787 “Dream-Liner” aircraft. Supported CATIA V5, DELMIA, ENOVIA, and VELOCITY programs, IP authoring, SOI modifications/revisions, and final assembly liaison planning. Major error reduction in final assembly work plans which resulted in several awards for excellent performance. Familiar with design of Boeing CFRP primary and secondary structural parts, fiberglass, honeycombs etc. Experienced with final assembly problems of primary composite structure wide body aircraft.

SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER

Design of passenger doors for a new Russian regional jet aircraft. Main door mechanisms, primary door structure, intercostals, door frames, skins, brackets, and reinforcing elements, seals and other rubber-plastic parts, as well as main door actuation mechanism. Door integration drawings, door rigging documents, drawings check, and shop liaison engineering. Successfully released over 250 passenger door production drawings before the required deadlines.

Design of lavatories, waste tanks, and sanitation systems for aircraft and trains. New design, design modifications, and revisions. Liaison engineering support. Other major projects include B737 forward air stairs and pilot seats for different A/C models. Solved all production and in-service issues with B737 forward air stairs which accumulated over the years.

Conversion design of a B747-100 forward and aft ward lower lobe cargo compartments into B747-200 configuration. Main components of these type of modifications included reinforcement of floor beams and fuselage frames, wings structure reinforcement and attachment of main fittings to support additional structural loads. Designed composite secondary structural parts as large antenna radomes needed for various avionics installation, civilian and military applications.
