Hired to take a distribution center that was operating in the red in quality, delivery, customer service, and productivity, and turn things around. I wrote and put processes in place to correct the standardized work and work flow. Reorganized the staff to properly cover the work flow. Boosted the moral, which cause an increase in productivity. The result after 6 months, quality, delivery, productivity and customer service was in the green across the board.
Opened new plasma center in Terre Haute market and passed FDA certification/license. I was responsible for hiring of staff members, training of staff and assessing their performance, setting up and implementing all company procedures. Center received lowest cost per liter award.
Boosted FedEx productivity; introduced strong training and support process. Managed sort operation and trucking operation. Hired and trained numerous employees. Introduced true team concept and set stringent standards. Cross-trained all associates. Adjusted production processing and drove productivity to exceed monthly goals. I achieved location profit that other managers were unable to achieve.
Reduced on-job injury rates for FedEx, saving $50K in expenses and meeting profitability goals. I developed safety management process that identified improper processing and lifting.
