Having been headhunted to join Barclays, reviewed and swiftly stabilise the existing systems, mitigating the system risks identified. Successfully led change programmes in multiple international locations (The UK, US, India and Singapore, Portugal), to identifying the core stakeholder requirements and then develop and deliver the required new system architecture. This actively supported the businesses targeted growth with the effective execution of the required global system enhancements on time and in budget.

Successfully migrated 125 projects of Portugal dev centre from VSS version control ClearCase and completed their Automated Build and Release setup.

Barclays is a major global financial services provider engaged in personal banking, credit cards, corporate and investment banking and wealth and investment management with an extensive international presence in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. Barclays operates in over 50 countries and employs 140,000 people.

Process Architect –

2.Suggesting correct application to gather requirements and keep track of the requirement

3.Working closely with PMO (Sales management team of project) to understand requirements of customer, suggest solutions, developing concept notes and putting proposal and taking it to approval from stake holders.

Prior to above role I worked as Service Delivery Lead-India.

As a lead I was responsible for,

Environment / Stake holder / Team / Vendor/ Project Management

I was solely lead all these things for 6 yrs

Only person who managed data centre migration from Philippines to UK, South Africa to UK which involved Data migration and VM migration from old Hardware Infrastructure to New Hardware Infrastructure. Due to this task I was able to save 740K pound for the first 6 month and then another 800k pound for the next six month as other infrastructure was also migrated based on my experience.

For this migration I have been awarded Star Performer of the year 2012.

In environment management, was responsible for server upgrades, new server hardware purchase, O.S. Patching, scheduling, Failovers, DR design and testing periodically. I am looking after all the vendors locally as well as international levels to discuss the requirements and make to the completion of the reuqirements.

For this a separate news letter was designed by me to keep stake holders and senior management updated with happening at infra levels.

I had helping hand of local and remote IT team to complete the installation and configuration for hardware infrastructure and also vendors involvement like HP/IBM was there.

Based on my work load, management created a team who will be reporting me and will be helping me in all the task I was doing.

This team was spread out in various location like India, Singapore, UK, Kive which helped me to manage all this infra 24/7 as this team (including me) started working in Shifts like UK and US timings. And I was based out of London and Manchester for 6 months to mentor my team seating there.

I was responsible for this team management, their KRA, personal development, trainings, leaves.

ClearCase, SVN, Build and Release, are my specialized area where I have created configuration management plan, build plans and implemented it successfully for various teams internally.

Major achievement was movement of 125 odd projects of SVN to ClearCase from Portugal. User base was 600 odd users. This I had completed independently. Doing this migration saved cost of 50k pound in first 4 months. And for the full year 300k pound was saved on infrastructure and project management.

Till date I have trained 1700 odd users on clearcase / svn apart from my regular duties to keep up the correct software development track in this org. and still training is going on.

As a team we were supporting 18 diff application like Clearcase, Reqpro, Team City, Hudson, Cruise control, Quality centre, Performance centre etc.

I have created 3 level of support in order offer our service support of developers, L1/L2/L3 layers helped me to help my team grow with pace. Every team member had opportunity to grow due to this layer so team was happy and so I was.
