checks, bale cardboard, make bales, and assigned cleaning tasks.
March 1981 - Promoted to Combo Clerk
As a combo clerk I worked in multiple department, cashier, stocking grocery, night crew, stocking dairy
department, stocking deli department, stocking frozen foods department, stocking produce department
July 1981 - Promoted in to the Produce Department
Responsible for stocking produce department, providing customer service, rotating product, keeping the
department clean and well stocked, receiving loads, breaking down load and organizing backroom and cooler,
code dating product on arrival, closing department procedures, trimming product ahead for the morning wet
rack clerk, setting wet rack.
January 1984 - Entered Asst. Produce Manager Training
I entered training program at store level which was conducted by both asst. produce manager and produce
manager where I worked 2 hours of my shift side by side. I was taught the following skills, learning
schematics for both wet rack and produce tables accordingly to the different seasons and holidays. Writing
orders, daily price changes, setting new ad prices, learning gross profits, controlling shrink, labor budgets,
floral department operations.
Sept. 1984 - Promoted to Asst. Produce Manager
I was in charge of the department when produce manager was off and vacations. I was in charge of setting the
wet rack daily, I would order for the wet rack, check loads as received, monthly inventory, I was picked by the
district manager to be part of a re model/grand opening crew. I would create a schematic and responsible for
ordering and setting the wet rack presentation for the stores grand opening.
Alpha-Beta/Ralphs
Feb. 1987 - Promoted to Produce Department Manager
Responsible for all operations of the produce and floral department Gross Profits, Controlling Shrink,
Inventory, labor budget and scheduling, Training and developing of team members, Sales, My department was
consistently in the top 10 in the company in gross profit and shrink and sales. 1994 Alpha Beta / Food4less
acquired Ralphs Grocery Co. All Alpha Beta store were either converted to Ralphs or Food4less or closed. My
store was one of the first to be converted to Ralphs. For one year I was Produce Department manager with
Ralphs and helped convert 20 stores to Ralphs.
Ralphs/Food4Less
Aug. 1995 - Sept. 2006 Produce Department Manager
As a Ralphs/Food4Less employee having the same responsibility, I was recruited by The District Manager to
open the first Food4Less store from the ground up as the Produce Manager after the merger of Ralphs /
Food4Less. The store was located in Santa Clarita. The store, when opened, set all-time records in store sales
and produce sales. For the next two years the produce maintained an average of $95,000 to $110,000 in sales.
Went on to run 10 Food4less stores and helped open many others. Assisted my produce supervisor with special
assignments and did vacation relief for him.

June 2008 - March 2015
Same previous responsibility as a Produce Department Manager. I was selected to be a part of a hiring team for
the California Region, responsibility was to interview for positions for new stores at Job Fairs. Certified to
perform oral drug test. Our team also travel to different states to assist in job fairs and helped set the produce
department in new store grand openings.
Hot & glassy surfboards 2016-2018 I worked as a production worker where I laminated surfboards, installed fins, performed hot coats, finished sanding, custom art work, we were contracted to finish all steps of finished surfboards for lost surfboards inc . One of the top company's internet industries . We produced weekly 60 to 90 boards
