Professional Experience
From 1st November 2006 working as Supervisor (S & E Grade) in Foundry Melting Shop of M/S. Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Kansbahal Works, Kansbahal.
During this prolonged career worked in shift at melting shop with Induction melting & holding furnace of 2T, 6T and 16Tons for metal grades of Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Ni-Hards Iron, Plain Carbon alloy steel, Medium Alloy Steel and some SS grades of steel. A shift compromising of 22 unionised workmen from melting, pouring and ladle section.
From June 2002 to October 2006 worked with three different DRI companies Pawanjay Sponge Iron ltd., Rourkela, Orissa, 21st Century Wire Rods ltd, Khanvel, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and M/s. Sen Ferro Alloys, Durgapur, West Bengal in the post of Trainee to Production Manager.
Skills & Present Responsibilities
During the service tenure at Melting shop, Kansbahal learn how to get the job done by unionised workmen and good experience of liquid metal handling from 1 Ton to 30 Ton and the ladles required there for different grades like Lip Pouring, Bottom pouring and Tea Spout Ladle.
Necessary Charge preparation in a economic way and adjusting the final chemistry to meet the requirement of customer as well as to get the final physical property.
Knowledge of Refractory material used for lining of ladles and furnaces.
Knowledge about operation of Spectro Meter to analyse the samples from induction furnace and some of incoming raw materials.
Knowledge about EOT crane operation.
Presently also doing the daily and weekly planning of heats and material forecast to meet un-interrupted production.
Giving Daily and Monthly melting production, liquid metal and material consumption, Duty and over time data of workmen to immediate superior.
Computer Skill
Well versed with MS Office, Internet and Some application software like EIP, PDSS, JD.
