Director of Human Resources

Reporting to the CEO with accountability for all Human Resources, Safety and Payroll functions supporting multi-state locations “including California” consisting of customer service, corporate office and warehouse employees. Supervise and mentor a staff of three.

Heavy emphasis on employee relations and conducting thorough and objective investigations.

Heavy emphasis on recruiting to include the implementation of outreach efforts in the community. In conjunction with management developed and refined our onboarding program.

Providing performance management guidance to management to include: coaching, counseling and career development. Implemented the DiSC Assessment Program and a Talent Assessment Plan.

Facilitated Interview & Selection and Positive Employee Relations training to all management.

Lead the human resources and safety due diligence process during the acquisition of a company with 250 employees in multi-state locations. Lead the employee communications effort during and after the acquisition.
