In the facility, giving priority to administer optimum care to our patients is imperative. Strict and rigorous infection control is highly maintained. Appropriate delegation of task and coordination among the health team is the core of the workplace. Health workers practice under proper policies and procedure. In this institution, I worked under the supervision of an RN providing bedside care, treatment and clinical documentation for patients on high care. We carried out medication, oxygen, and insulin administration, physical assessments, dressing changes, IVs and catheter removals. Facilitated admissions, discharges and transfers, referrals, modification of care plans, and coordinated with the interdisciplinary team. We gave importance to providing holistic and safe quality care to our patients. The experience I had improved my skills on assessment, planning, treating and evaluating patient care.
