Contracted by Ericsson to advance and accomplish the T-Mobile Modernization project goals.

Managed the Avion Field Engineers Installing, Testing and Integrating the Radio Base Stations (RBS) used at the cell sites.

Directed teams that upgraded the wireless network to provide 4G-LTE technology and improve the 3G-UMTS service.

Site Team Leader of Field Engineers and Technicians in all aspects of Installation, Commissioning and Service of Switching and Wireless Telecommunications equipment in a cellular providers market.

Developed the Method of Procedure (MOP) used in Planning, Initiating and Executing projects.

Monitored and controlled projects by coordinating the flow of information and resources between the customer, engineering, material/parts and the installation team.

Installed and tested Flarion Radio Router-Base Stations used in Nextel’s broadband trial market. The new network used FLASH-OFDM technology to provide high-speed wireless internet access.

Tested the hardware with a Spectrum Analyzer and Signal Generator, programmed the software using a UNIX-based operating system with Hyper-terminal. The cell clusters were drive tested to provide wireless coverage test results used to optimize the network.

GSM/BSS Wireless Field Technician, Nortel (2000 – 2003)

Installed, commissioned and call tested Initial Base Transceiver Station (BTS 8000 and 12000) and Extension Cabinets at cell sites throughout a GSM wireless network.

Installed and commissioned Base Station Controllers (BSC) and Transcoder Units (TCU) used in the Mobile Switch Center (MSC).
