As a part of Salary exempt project, added Salary exempt field on Assignment page and configured Integration broker(Create new Message, Service, Service operation, Routing, Handler peoplecode) to consume messages from Financials.

Worked and coordinated with Web team from RFO side, to successfully rollout Mobile application. Consumed SOAP based web service provided by web team and implemented code to provide required RFO data to web team. Also worked on the one time conversion script which loads the data on staging table on web team side.

Designed and developed an application Engine to clean bad/blank email addresses (list provided), and default email addresses to <emplid>@noemail.com. Created and used EMPLOYEE_DATA CI (component Interface) to update email addresses (25,000+ email addresses). Updated logic for Send Jobs Now page, to trigger only one warning message instead of one for each line with bad/blank email address.

Added functionality to the RFO system to capture state specific Workers Compensation codes, by introducing workers comp code field on Assignment page. Updated IB (Integration Broker) message to pass the comp code to HR/Payroll where they use it to calculate the employee portion of the Workers compensation tax.

Designed and developed Designation of Beneficiary (DBN) page in pension Self Service module. Designed page has built in ability to add/delete Principal beneficiaries (Spouse, Mother, Father etc.) and also corresponding Contingent beneficiaries. (Children, Grandchildren etc.)

Implemented different Edits/Validations for the DBN page, at component level/record level/page level depending on a nature of particular edit/validation. These includes, avoid adding same Principal beneficiary twice, validating total percentage for beneficiaries, if equal shares flag is checked then divide the percentage equally between beneficiaries etc.

Worked on design and implementation of Contact info page in Pensions module to store retiree addresses. The page was designed in a way that, the main page ll show current contact info, including Email and Phone numbers and ll have different buttons to transfer to corresponding change page, if needed to change contact/phone/email. Added functionality to verify the entered USA addresses from USPS website.

Designed and developed Manual Payments page for Pensions module. Used Domodalcomponent function to transfer to different pages from this page, like Bank info page, Contact Info Page, Payment Qualifiers page. Implemented different Edits/Validations for the page.

Worked on number of Conversion and reconciliation scripts during Data migration. Used PL/SQL Blocks for writing these scripts, so the error catching would be easier.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is North America's largest transportation network, serving a population of 14.9 million people in the 5,000-square-mile area fanning out from New York City through Long Island, southeastern New York State, and Connecticut.

Worked at MTA on a Benefits Self-Billing Project.

Worked on the different processes in the project, which generates an Invoice out of PeopleSoft that includes both the current month’s enrollment headcount and prior month adjustments. The invoice is used to bill Health, Life, and Long Term Disability benefit providers, will contain all necessary information to process a payment.

The Self billing process was divided in to 3 different processes, Invoice creation, Remittance file, AP Interface. All 3 processes were consolidated in a PeopleSoft Job.

Wrote Application engine program to create a Remittance file, which is required to support monthly invoice. This file then provided to the vendors as supporting documentation for both the current bill and any adjustments being calculated.

Wrote Application engine to create single AP Interface file, and transfer (FTP) the file to AP for Payments. This single invoice file then used to have one preapproved voucher per vendor, which will include the distribution amounts by Business Unit and also Chart fields from AP side, which were configured depending on different vendors and Business Units.

Created AP Interface configuration page, which will keep track of different Chart fields from AP side, depending on different business units and vendors.

Created different PeopleTools objects, like records, pages, components, component interfaces, file layouts, new fields according to client requirements.

Wrote PeopleCode to implement different System logics for the above mentioned processes.

Created different PS query reports, as per the client requirements. The reports include,

oVendor Rates report: Provides latest effective-dated rates for the specified vendor.

oBilling History Report: Provides EEs details to different agencies, for which they are billed for.

oFamily enroll w no Dependent Report: The report provided data for any employees who are enrolled in a health benefit plan as family coverage but do not have any dependents enrolled and vice-versa.

In order to better track and report on the Retiree reimbursement process, a new custom record and page created in PeopleSoft that will store the information that is currently populated in spreadsheets. Created a PS query to fetch this Retiree Reimbursement data. Also created Reimbursement configuration page, which will store the reimbursement configuration data according to different Business Units.

Used Phire tool, for migration of objects from source environment to destination environments.

Wrote Technical specs and Unit test documents for the processes and reports mentioned above.

In the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the Board of Pensions is the legally responsible corporate body established under a civil charter for the purpose of administering the pension and benefits program of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

Worked at BOP on QDP (Qualified Domestic partner) Project.

Worked on different Census reports like Quarterly census report, Dependent census, Quarterly census by eligibility in Benefits, which keeps counts of dependents having major medical coverage, dispersed across different groupings and classifications. Reports modified to accommodate newly introduced RELATIONSHIP/MAR_STATUS codes, JOBCODEs in QDP.

Worked on Monthly census report, in which, in addition to retrofit report according to QDP requirements, two new columns introduced to keep count of QDP and QDP child in separate buckets rather than spouse and adult child, which are also dispersed across different groupings and classifications.

For QDP implementation, according to Member Couples criteria, the couples should be opposite gendered. Modified reports and processes, to accommodate QDP member couple criteria, which are same gendered couples.

Performed migrations of different project from Source environments to Destination environments using STAT tool.

Worked on DEPEND_BENEF component (Update Dependent Beneficiary component), to include new logics to accommodate QDP. Logics include, avoid adding QDP to a member who already has a spouse and vice-versa. Also wrote logic to validate the combination of relationship and marital status codes. Ex: Spouse/QDP should always have a marital status of married/QDP accordingly.

Wrote Tech specs, Test scenarios/scripts for all the modifications/customizations related to QDP project.

Worked on reports which includes different reports like:

oSalary study reports – Which keeps track of current salaries of the pastors, dispersed according to different congregation sizes for different Pins.(Departments -> Churches.)

oDemographic study reports – Which helps upper management to take policy making decisions. It covered the average age and gender and marital status distribution of members per year for ministers and for lay members who were part of the plan as of the end of the year, between years provided.

Worked on the successful resolution of different Production issues which include:

oIssues with Salary Grade process. Generally, salary grade are set according to different salary ranges. But the salary grades for some of the ranges were going wrong. Fixed the effective dated logic in SQL to get salary grades.

o“No matching buffer found for level error” for some EmplIDs. For some members, there were rows in PERS_NID record for their dependents, but were missing the rows on parent/higher level records. The issue was related to past conversions.

oDouble invoice total problems with Benefits billing invoices because of FUTURE_FLG on EMPLMT_SRCH_GBL record.

oFidelity interface issue. The custom program was designed to deal with domestic members only. Modified the program to process international members.

oBCP interface issue. The interface application engine was sending the txt file to the vendor with the first and last name as first name only. Modified the application engine to correct the issue.

Worked on the reports which get the members who are eligible for member couples but are not member couples, and members who are member couples but should not be member couples, according to member couple criteria. Modified the report, to accommodate the new QDP RELATIONSHIP and MAR_STATUS codes.

Developed 2 SQR reports from the scratch, to report the EEs, who has a Health benefit enrollments for Highmark/ESI within 30 Days in the future, excluding the members with future drops.

Wrote DMS scripts to export/import different Benefit Programs and Event rules from/to different environments.

Worked on a process to load Zip codes for Aetna Dental to Production system during open enrollment for coming year.

Modified different Personal data pages to accommodate changes related to QDP, added QDP related fields to the records/pages.

Analyzed several benefit Programs for references in database/SQRs, during Aetna Impact analysis project. Decoded all the PeopleCode and SQL definitions from the database to a text file, so that all the developers can do searches in text files instead of doing ‘find in’ in application designer. This greatly helped in reducing the time by 5-10 times the actual time required for analysis.

ReImplemented the process UHC_099, which is replica of PER099, which populates UHC_PERSONS instead of EMPLOYEES. Created EMPLOYEES as the view of UHC_PERSONS.

Worked on retrofitting/reimplementation of Payroll Audit Reports and Payroll Archive processes which includes Mercer Error Report, Daily Rehires Report for Payroll Operations, Daily terms Reports, Pay Period Overtime Reports, Employees Not Processed in Current payroll, Payroll Archive Process. Reports and processes include SQRs and Application Engines.

Worked on bolt-on module ReCAP (Requisition Creation and Approval), which allows hiring managers and administrators to create requisitions within PeopleSoft and obtain approval prior to importing them into Taleo for fulfillment, which is a third party application for Recruiting.

ReCAP was subdivided into different processes and reports, which includes, Approvals, Approval Reassignment Process, Batch processes, Core Functionality and Online pages, Delegation, Enhancements, Look and Feel. Worked on complete ReCAP cycle, which includes reimplementation of SQRs, Application Engines and Pages.

For number of MSS components, implemented DirectReportsUI logic instead of OPRROWS direct reports logic, to render the direct reports structure to the managers for processing a transaction for their employees.

Applied retrofits to all Tax/Batch Processes and Reports in Payroll, which includes Tax Location Change Report, WC Quarterly/Monthly Wages and Premium report, Labor Department Report, Tax Deposit Summery(TAX001), Local Tax Deposit summary(TAX009).

Most of the processes worked on, instead of hardcoding values in process itself, used Programmers Set up Table, which keeps track of all hardcoded values in the process, which makes the processes really easy to maintain.

Worked on Benefits processes/reports regarding Leave Plan Enrollment, which includes process Automatic Benefit Plan Assignments, and report Employee Benefit Plan Data Audit Report.

Created New Records, Pages, Menus, Components, Application Engines, SQRs according to client requirements.

Worked on development of the process, using Application Engine, which will load the Job Orders from MJQ system ( Job order management system +ERP package) to the PeopleSoft system.
