Duties and Onus:

Deputies in the absence of Front Office Manager and ensure the smooth functioning of front office.

Check Cleanliness of lobby and public areas, lights and as well as front office staff in proper and orderly appearance and behavior.

Check the daily arrivals (VIP, Groups) and departures report.

Check reg. cards of arriving guests and ensure all information must be filled in system and on each card also.

To approve and sign for allowances, rebates etc. by front office cashier.

Financial performance (Up selling, Room Revenue, Operation Auditing).

Assist with making walk in direct reservation.

Assist with rate check report on daily basis.

Assigns and approves duty roaster for all front desk staff.

To make reports, as required for hotel management.

To attend management meetings as and when required.

Organize the training of staff for meeting the standards of services.

Appraise staff performance and recommend rewards to the Front Office Manager.

Attend to guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction through immediate action.

Deal with all enquires in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail.

Coordination with other departments as per the guest requirement.

Provide the pivotal tiding to the guest about the hotel and surrounding community.

Maintain the standards of hotel.

Ensure high level of customer service is maintained at all time by all front desk staff.

Control cost of supplies.

To be ready to face any incident related to guests and staff.

Report any security issues to the hotel manager immediately.
