Monitoring of operation and guiding panel engineers and field operators in efficient operation of plant.

Time management and prioritizing.

Distribution of steam& power and making electrical and steam load adjustment.

Taking lead role in cold and hot start up, in equipment change over and in tripping to make plant normal.

Maintaining steam & water quality in boiler and water quality of cooling towers by use of chemical dozing and blow down.

To prepare and present daily steam coal consumption report, steam power balance sheet etc.,

To minimize wastage of fuel, electrical, manpower and raw material.

Identification of critical spares in various utility equipments for inventory.

Supervision of shutdown maintenance jobs and general maintenance during shift.
