psychiatrist. Giving medical treatment for any emergency situations that arise for youths and

employees. Evaluating and treating youths that become ill. Assuring necessary medical

appointments are kept. Giving State required vaccinations to enter public schools. Covering

shifts and vacation time for other nurse and medical secretary. Education of House Parents and

child care workers to medical and psychiatric issues of youths.

Duties included every day running of a busy psychiatric medication clinic with 200 patients and

three psychiatrists. Triage of patients before appointment with the psychiatrist. Assuring that

all patients did not run out of medications. Covering all telephone calls by patients or guardians

documentation was done. Liaison between Psychiatrist and patients. Liaison between

medications.

floor for males age 16 to 21. Supervised 12 workers including therapists & assistants.

sizing of facility and eventual closing
