Professional Experience
Personnel Specialist - As a Personnel Specialist I was responsible for processing and maintaining all associates personnel records. Communicated with th Accounting Center on behalf of the associates throughout the year providing company benefit information for newly elidgible associates and to all eligible associates annually for benefits during open enrollment. In additition worked with the Loss Prevetion department in keeping records on all customer and associate accidents, completing all OSHA complient documents as well as working with insurance companys until the case or claim was closed.
Receptionist - As a receptionist I was to answer a multiple trunk line both coming into the store and within the store. The receptionist was also in charge of paging for customer assistance and making sales announcements.
Department Supervisor - As a department supervisor I assisetd the manager in guiding our team on a daily basis with customer issues, department moves, sign and price changes and training on new company policies and procedures in the following departments: Women's Accessories, Handbags, Lingerie, Fine and Fashion Jewelry and Boy's, Girls and Infants.
Customer Service Training Supervisor - I reviewed applications, conducted interviews, hired, scheduled and provided new associates with their orientation and register training. In addiditon I provided training to all associates on new policy and procedural training as well as new techniques on customer service.
Office Manager- I gave guidance when needed to the other office associates and receptionists. My duties were to keep the daily tasks flowing smooth and provided answers along with assistance to solve any issues at hand. I maintained and filed all company records with a very high level of confidentiality until instruced to destroy, following the company directions during the annual document destruction. I managed accounts receivable and payable along with processing daily cash deposits and slaes audit functions. I ordered money for the store and worked with th local armored car servce. I answered the multi-line phone system throughout the day taking care to solve any customer or associate issue before it reached the store management. I was also the first person any visitor or vendor saw when visiting our store and provided them the ability to sign in and receive a visitors tag complying with th Loss Prevention Department. I maintained all store equipment by reprograming, cleaning, updating or arranging replacement of the following: cash registers, printers, scanners, monitors, sigcap devices, all computers, laser printers the Xerox maching as well as the IPADS, IPODS and 2 way radios. I ordered all NFR supplies for the store and maintained the inventory of supplies.
Executive Assistant - As the assistant to the Store Leader my duties were to be available at any given time to provide her with sales figures, reports, associate and customer information as well as organize and arrange store, district and corporate meetings and luncheons. Daily I provided all morning rally information such as previous days figures, daily goals, company announcements, associate recognition awards as well as anniversary and birthdays. In addition I entered and edited management schedules into the company system on a daily/weekly basis. I also arranged and organized all social functions for the store and district providing food/beverage and decorations. I opened the store monday thru friday at 7am for the maintenance crew and the support staff.
