Pre – University Council

I helped in organizing some events such as Teachers’ Day, Marathon

(school category) and Orientation Day of new intakes. In the process of organizing those events I have gained much experience in communicating with the school principle, teachers and schoolmates. Besides that, a research has been conducted and presented in a colloquium. This experience had enabled me to present myself in public. Participating in a Public Speaking Programme also gave me exposure.

2007 – 2010

Red Crescent Society

I did a few performances during this period including some events such as Red Crescent Gathering among secondary schools and farewell party for senior retirement. I also presented a speech about dengue and malaria at the assembly in Health Week which helped improved my presentation skills. I was a director appointed by seniors to organize a camping event and was also a secretary of a blood donation drive event. This helped me build my confidence and improved my communication skills with my team members and Red Crescent members from other divisions.
