Experience During the period from 2nd November 1993 until 19th November 1993 I worked on a contract base for ISM Inter at SASOL Secunda in order to gain experience working in a Petro Chemical Plant.

My work involved receiving different types of Process Controlling Instruments, dismantling, cleaning, repairing, re-assembling and calibration up to Plant Specifications.

I was also involved in Quality Control of all Instruments leaving the Workshop after calibration before being dispatched to the different Departments.

For my quality work delivered I received an Excellent Rating.

OTHER EXPERIENCE

I used to be in the South African Police Reservist Force from 1982 till 1986. At the end of 1986 I took my honourable Discharge to further my studies.

EXTRAMURAL ACTIVITIES

Scuba Diving is practiced as a Family sport. Until 1994 I was actively involved in the Training of Students where I held the position of Dive Master. I was also the Editor of our Club’s newsletter. At this stage I am a non-active Dive Master.

Cycling is also a pastime.

Wrought Iron work. At one stage I supplied different shops in and around Durban with different types of work.
