I have excellent core analytics and business development skills with an established history of successfully sourcing acquisition targets. My proven achievements include restructuring and integration of a target, raising equity & debt as well as positioning a company for a sale or merger.

My focus is in capital restructuring and operations with a keen ability to achieve the objectives set forth in an assignment by assembling a management team, identify underperforming assets and restructuring a pathway to bottom line performance. I have experience in over 10 industries: automotive, energy, fashion apparel, insurance, manufacturing, real estate, retail, franchising, tech and waste management. I am looking for a challenging opportunity within a larger organization where my unique skills and deal flow can further my career in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions. Partial list of accomplishments: 2001 to present VP, Quest Capital Holdings. 2012-13. Arranged the successful acquisition and raised capital to purchase Great Northwest Insurance as a carve out from the St. Paul Insurance companies, when the insurer decided to move out of property and casualty lines. Brought in the former CEO of Milwaukee Insurance Group with a management team to develop an e commerce business and expanded lines of business into 29 states. 2008-10. Targeted the successful acquisition and raised capital to purchase Benefitport from Marsh-Mac the world’s largest insurance broker. Benefitport is a group health provider with multiple offices in several states serving 1,000+ insurance agencies. Successfully restructured, lead management and sold in year 3 to Goldman Sachs private equity group.

2001-03 Turned around a 1150+ acre money loosing proposed MSW landfill operation outside of Fort Worth, Texas. After completing a successful restructuring, slashing expenses and receiving pre-approval permits was able to merge the site into Allied Waste Industries. Prior to 2001, I was a successful entrepreneur and below are my accomplishments: 1994-2000. With a team, targeted the purchase of Calvin Klein Jeanswear (revenues of $50MM) in 1994 and grew sales to $400MM prior to an IPO in late 1996. Negotiated and purchased exclusively the rights for the former territories of the Soviet Union for CK Jeanswear and licenses from Warnaco for CK Underwear. As a start up, lead a management team whereby revenues rose to over $70MM within 24 months. In 1999, I sold my interest to a Russian consortium. 1983-1993 I started my business career in the automobile field and became a certified master coachbuilder / specialty automobile manufacturer for GM, Ford and Chrysler. In 1986, with a team built the largest limousine & specialty vehicle manufacturing facility in the U.S., Dillinger/Gaines. Aggressively grew the stretch limousine & livery market in the U.S. within the factory dealer network. Developed long term relationships with business leaders, heads of state, royalty and the film industry. Assisted Lee Iacocca in developing the Fifth Avenue limousine for Chrysler. Created a captive finance and insurance company that was sold in 1993 to European American bank in a roll up. Dillinger/Gaines was sold to the Yankee Automotive Group the following year.
