Over 7 years of experience in early childhood education, I have successfully incorporated music, technology & art and craft in program planning. - Bachelor of Education in early childhood education from New Zealand Tertiary College (July 2013- November 2014).

- Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology from Mumbai University (2005-2008).

- Certificate Course in Child Care and Development from Mumbai University (2005-2006).

- Certificate Course in Preschool Teacher Training from Mumbai University (2011-2012). Professional Development:

- Differentiating Instruction: Strategies for Effective Classroom Practice (February to May 2014) I’m currently pursuing a course on differentiated learning from Harvard’s wide world online learning. Differentiating instruction is all about personalizing the curriculum for the students. There are three elements of the curriculum that can be differentiated: content, process, and products.

- Teaching Strategies (February 2014)

I attended the 20 hours training to have an in-depth understanding of the assessment tool- Teaching Strategies; for early childhood. It is an assessment tool used in the Creative Curriculum.

- Google Summit (November 2013)

I attended two sessions in Google Summit held at the American School of Bombay- Chrome is the new black, Search on goggle. Both the workshops enabled me with simple techniques and features to save time and appropriate use of technology with students.

- Music Together Teacher Training (October 2013)

The Music Together program (New Jersey) is based on leading research, both in music and child-development theory. It has been a developmental, non performance oriented approach to music learning that adapts to all learning styles and participation of all children at their own level.

- Making the PYP happen workshop (September 2013)

I attended the workshop to have a basic understanding of the Primary Years Program (PYP). The PYP curriculum is to in build lifelong inquiry and socially sensitive and knowledgeable students.

- Digital Story Telling workshop by Bernajean Porter (September 2013) Participated in an onsite practicum training on digital storytelling with Bernajean Porter at the American School of Bombay. The interactive workshop facilitated on how technology can be incorporated in the early childhood to tell a story.

- First Aid (August 2013)

I have completed basic first aid, CPR and AED course as per the guidelines of American Heart Association. Presentations:

- “Chrome is the new black” (December 2013)

Shared the knowledge and skills gained at the Google summit. I have presented in partnership with a colleague, as a teacher leader about the use of Google Chrome for educators. It saves our precious time with knowledge of small techniques and an influential educational tool.

- ASB Unplugged (February 2014)

Presented a workshop on “Telling a Story in early childhood” at the ASB unplugged. A brief timeline of storytelling through the ages with hands on experience of digital story telling apps was the highlight of the presentation. Work Experience:
