Chief Executive Officer--CEO 2009-2015
Developed the company in all its areas including Sales and Marketing, Purchasing and Imports, Administrative and Financial Management, and Human Resource Management.
• Created and positioned the Licorela brand name as a unique importer with large value added to customers.
• Achieved exponential growth in sales increasing sales by ten times in less than five years by developing and successfully implementing a Strategic Business Plan that included a new route to consumer that increased coverage, portfolio by customer and overall sales per customer, and optimized customer service. Achieved results by building a result-oriented and motivated marketing and sales team.
• Increased the breadth of product portfolio of national and imported products by identifying and obtaining the representation of strategic complementary brands and successfully launched over 30 new brands.
• Spearheaded due diligence and successfully negotiated the acquisition of 25 Horas and Correo de la Noche (Home Delivery companies) and developed their strategic marketing plans to position the companies in top of mind of consumers.

CIRCULO DE LECTORES S.A. (Casa Editorial El Tiempo) (Bogota, Colombia) Vice President Sales and Marketing Video Division 2004-2007 Developed the home video division that included the representation for Colombia and Ecuador of Warner Home Video, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and Buena Vista Home Entertainment (Disney).
• Exceeded the sales and profit growth goals each year for the Division, doubling sales each year. Developed and implemented strategic business plan for the DVD business in Colombia and Ecuador and built the capabilities of the sales team.
• Achieved the representation for Colombia and Ecuador of Buena Vista Home Entertainment.
• Established PRACI the antipiracy Program for the protection of intellectual property of films videos in Colombia. DIAGEO

Developed the Supermarket Chain sales channel for Diageo in Colombia and, for one year, was in charge as National Sales Director.
• Made the Supermarket Chain Channel the No. 1 sales channel for the company.
• Developed a Category Management program with the No. 1 spirits customer in Colombia: Carulla-- growing sales 30% in two years.
• Led the launch of Baileys and Smirnoff Ice in the key accounts (the main channel for product launch).
• Developed the change in Route to Consumer as Director of National Sales and began implementation of the project. Regional Manager Atlantic Coast (Cartagena, Colombia) 1997-1999 Built and developed the distribution network in Colombia’s Atlantic Coast.
• Achieved increase in sales by more than 30% in two years.
• Spearheaded the distribution project in the region to reduce costs to distributors and prices to final customers.
