•Supported Facility and Security Project Activities, such as oversight of the office relocation (approx. 140 personnel), participating in weekly site meetings with landlord/construction manager/designer to discuss progress, iron out identified issues and table noted deficiencies, and coordinating vendor activities, including move management/demolition/services for the old and new sites.

•Managed day to day operations, ensuring all federal and local codes and regulations were met, and security/safety processes were implemented in accordance with local legislation and Visa internal standards and procedures. Identified and implemented new directives as needed.

•Oversaw outsourced vendors/resources activities in the delivery of workplace services and ad hoc add/move/changes, including office maintenance and equipment repairs (Tyco, Morse, Black and MacDonald etc.), landlord interactions (SP Limited Partnership, Cadillac Fairview), coffee and kitchen supplies (Imperial Coffee, Van Houtte), and copiers/printers (Canon). Monitored maintenance plans, ensuring vendors executed plans appropriately, and made recommendations appropriately, ensuring a healthy and safe work environment

•Lead office Joint Health and Safety committee (JHSC), having recruited the required number of members. Provided each successful candidate with the necessary contacts and documentation to acquire provincially mandated training for proper structure and operation.

•Maintained databases for local use as online tools were developed to accommodate the electronic tracking desired for global use within Visa Inc. Developed some independent reporting (earlier days, prior to enterprise system roll-out) using MS Access.

•Dealt with intercepted plastics, redirected to Visa Canada by border agencies and Canada Post. Each had to be documented, data stored securely and plastics destroyed in a timely and secure manner.

•Attended recurring meetings with partners in law enforcement and other stakeholders. To deal effectively with ever-escalating fraud cases, met monthly to share non-partisan information, allowing for possible identification of related factors in a proactive manner.
